Stuff: More travel booking, Healthy lunch, Gym, Living large

One of my goals for the year was to get in good shape. Mainly to work on core strength so that I can try to avoid back issues as I get older (turning 50 this year!) And lose a few pounds of fat and replace with some muscle.
I wanna look in good shape like Melinda!
So we became members of a gym! Yes, me, an avowed hater of gyms, joined a gym! But we’re trying to do it “right”, so as to:
1) not injure ourselves
2) achieve fitness goals efficiently
3) spend as little time in the gym as possible!
And to help achieve our goals we got personal trainers. I’m meeting with him once a week for now and at least 4-5 sessions a week without the trainer. We’ll see how it goes!
For now, I can’t walk. The trainer made me do like 30 squats, and 30 lunges. With weights. Ugh!!
The other thing we did, cuz you know, that’s the way we roll, is we didn’t get a membership at some crowded cheap place. We need, well, a little fancier! You know us – high maintenance!
